Fangirl states the obvious.
I haven't watched Almost Human yet. I've glanced through random clips until Babe is ready to sit down and watch the first two episodes with me. But, in watching those clips, I have come to realize something:

Karl Urban is pretty dang cute.

I know, obvious, right?

Well, my fangirl crushes are far and in between, so that's my excuse. :P

Now, for those of you who have watched it, how is it? (If you can answer without any spoilers, that would be fabulous.) I know one of the people behind Fringe is the creator, so that's got me interested.

And yes, so does seeing Karl Urban. XD XD

The first episode was a pretty standard pilot, and the second episode dealt with a REALLY DUMB TOPIC in kind of the best way possible? Like, it was awful and I was angry, but it was really well written, and I think the characters themselves were just as uncomfortable as I was, so it was okay? Or something?

(I do think there was network meddling and this episode was later in the original line-up, because all of a sudden the buddy cops had very good chemistry, but OMG THEY ARE PRETTY.)

On a purely shallow note, it is very odd to me that Minka Kelly's character is the one Karl Urban's character is clearly being set up for, because I "met" him when he was a grown-up, whereas she'll always be a teenager to me, and it WEIRDS ME OUT.

BUT, you know, PRETTY.

I'm giving it a chance, anyway. I want to know what happens, which is more than I can say of SHIELD.

Thanks for the head's up about the second episode. (I saw the trailer, so I know something about the plot, but I'm glad that the episode is written well -- that goes a long way for me.)

I haven't seen Minka Kelly before, so I guess that's to my advantage.

And, um, yay for teh pretty. :D :D

Oh, I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who's not over the moon for SHIELD. I missed the past two weeks' episodes and I find that my life still feels complete.

He's only been in two major fantasy/sci-fi franchises and you're just getting around to noticing this? ;)

You know, in LOTR, I was busy looking at the Aragorn. (And the Legolas.)

And, er, well, I don't really have an excuse for Star Trek -- except for maybe the Bones!hair.

That spiky hair he's rocking in AH is yummeh. :D :D

I think some of his hotness was overshadowed by the Eomer wig and being covered up by the Rohirrim helm. But still. Absolutely no excuse in Star Trek either because Bones is so funny and humor is sexy. ;)

This is true. I must perform some kind of penance to make up for this fangirl sin I have committed. LOL

Worth watching, IMO.
Allthough it was not THE hit I was expecting...as said before by grav_ity: "standart"

But worth looking...and in case it stays "Standart" there is much, much room for imagination and fanfiction (*smirk*) to fill the gaps...because the IDEA (setting, made up reality) of this show is pretty good.

CU!
