Let me confess something, I rarely read fanfic anymore. I maybe read a dozen or so stories a year (excluding some of the favorite fics I have collected over the years) and with that, very, very few actually stick with me. This would be one of them.

i am your lionheart by muir_wolf, Big Bang Theory

Honestly, I have no idea how I even found this story. I barely like the show (scandalous, I know!). I figure I was browsing through some other different fandom and then saw this (maybe on the author's page?), read the summary and was intrigued.

It is such a good read. Seriously. I haven't felt this strongly about a fic since "He's a Rebel" by just_a_dram. (But the two stories couldn't be more different.)

I don't know how fierce the ship wars are in the fandom, so I should warn you that there is a Penny/Sheldon slant to the fic. But, it's not a fic about the relationship,

If you can stomach the hints of the Penny/Sheldon-ness, I would highly recommend this fic because it's that good. 

Guess so, but never again. :P
